No. 3 Magazine Premier Issue
No. 3 Magazine has featured two PurePhoto artists, B.J. Formento and Rafael Fuchs, in their premiere issue.
Excerpt from "FORMENTO AND FORMENTO Reveal Their Strange Fascination":
Dynamic husband and wife duo Richeille and B.J. Formento unveil their latest series, titled “Strange Fascination.”
Shot in the ancient Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico, these lustrous photographs explore humanity’s darkest tales of misfortune, tragedy and survival.
Formento & Formento carefully weave ordinary mishaps with rarely cinematic yet remarkable upsets — what the couple cleverly refer to as “accidents of the heart.” From superstitious fear to the strange fascinations with cultural tradition, from the hauntingly weird to the mythical, whether planned or followed by impulse, these images evoke mysteries of the "dark side."

Founder of the contemporary art gallery, Fuchs Projects, photographer Rafael Fuchs is one example of why Bushwick’s engineered art scene is and will continue to flourish.
